STANDING COMMITTEES

The structure of the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else organizational and mobilizational units will function “operationally” through Standing Committees. The basic operational and tactical workload of organizational and mobilizations units, i.e., IOC’s, NOC’s, ROC’s, SOC’s and LOC’s will be performed and coordinated through the following Standing Committees:

Administrative Committee (Responsible for overall administration and coordination of the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else)
Fundraising Committee (Responsible for developing and implementing 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else fundraising events, projects and campaigns)
Media Relations Committee (Responsible for disseminating 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else news and developing productive relationships with representatives of the media)
Research Committee (Responsible for developing and operating information technology (IT) in support of the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else)
Public Outreach Committee (Responsible for networking and outreaching to communities and families to support and participate in the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else )

Medical and First Aid Committee (Responsible for coordinating medical and first aid services at the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else)
Logistics Committee (Responsible for arranging and supervising the logistical support necessary to participate in the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else)
Legal Committee (Responsible for legal representation, advice, counsel and analysis in support of 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else)
Security Committee (Responsible for assignments, maintain security and safety with respect to the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else)
Volunteers Committee (Responsible for working with the Coordinator of Volunteers (COV) in the training, organizing, managing and inspiring volunteers for the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March – Justice or Else)
